Carmen, honor student graduate from Vineland High School, attended Cumberland County College and graduated with a Liberal Arts Business Administration degree in 1992. She was awarded EOF student of the year and recipient of two scholarships to attend Rowan University.
Carmen Attended Rowan University completing a total of 90 credits when in 1995 she accepted a FT position at ShowboatHotel/Casino as a Human Resources Personnel Clerk. In 1997, Carmen transferred to the Finance Department and worked closely to the Accounting department as a Food and Beverage Accounts Payable Specialist.
In March of 2000, Carmen accepted a FT position at PathStone as a Youth Career Exploration Program Coordinator/Americorps Program Supervisor. Carmen worked with youth ages 14-21 assisting them with their educational/career goals and supervised Americorps program members conducting agricultural pesticide safety training. Her experience with PathStone guided her to a FT position with P.R.A.C in 2005.
Carmen was hired as a Youth/Adult Job Readiness Program Coordinator. Carmen worked with youth ages 14-21 and adults assisting them with career exploration, job readiness and job placement. In 2010, she became the LIHEAP program Supervisor for PRAC in Salem County.
In 2013, Carmen became Manager of the LIHEAP program for PRAC, leading agency of Cape May County , and P.R.A.C Woodbine office Manager. In 2017, Carmen returned to Rowan University pending graduating Fall 2019 with a Bachelor’s in General Studies from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
She is married with three children and two grandchildren and enjoys time with family and friends. Carmen has a passion for fitness and holds a nationally recognized certification to train Seniors under the Staying Active and Independent for Life Program.
